8th & 9th Grade Sunday School

"Pathfinders"

        Our 8th & 9th Grade class, "The Pathfinders", acts as a follow-up to our 7th Grade Confirmation Class.  They study topics like  Finding Help Through the Bible, Called to Be Different, I Am What I Jam, and When Bad Things Happen.  This class also takes a Spiritual Gifts Survey, that helps students learn what spiritual gifts God has given them and how to use these gifts.

 

    Besides discussing these subjects, the class learns through hands-on mission projects and even through  a couple of "field trips."

   

    If you have a "Youth Study Bible," bring it to class. (You might even get a reward!)  If you need a "Youth Study Bible," just let us know and our church will give you one.

 

    This year our 8th Graders are on a "Hunt For Treasures of Faith."  Each week the class works on a clue to discover key words or phrases which will eventually lead them to the "TREASURE!"  The class will decide together what the prize will be when the treasure is found.
